Balaram (Brad) Gajra, RPh, PhD

Lead Pharmacist/Pharmacy Manager/Owner
Prescribing Pharmacist | Certified Injection Pharmacist | Certified Diabetes Educator | Certified Respiratory Educator | Certified Tobacco Educator | Geriatric Pharmacist | Travel Health Expert

Brad is a passionate pharmacist who truly believes in providing personalized care for every patient. He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Pharmacy, followed by a PhD focused on improving the effectiveness of antifungal medications. Before moving into community and clinical pharmacy practice, Brad worked for several years as a Professor in Pharmacy school and Academic Researcher.

With over 12 years of experience in different pharmacy settings, Brad brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to his patients. For the past three years, he has been serving as a Geriatric Pharmacist in long-term care while also working in community pharmacy. His genuine care, listening approach, and focus on patient education make him a trusted health partner for many families.

Outside of work, Brad is an avid yoga and meditation practitioner and has been following this mindful lifestyle since his teenage years. He loves spending time with his two wonderful kids, volunteering for seniors, playing volleyball, cooking, attending motivational talks, and exploring new ideas in health and wellness. He also runs an online Podcast for Seniors health.

Janvi Patel, MScPharm, RPh

Clinical Staff Pharmacist
Certified Injection Pharmacist | Travel Health Expert

Janvi is a dedicated Staff Pharmacist known for her personalized, empathetic approach to patient care. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Clinical Pharmacy and began her career as a Clinical Research Associate with a leading Clinical Research Organization, where she developed strong expertise in clinical trials, patient safety, and regulatory processes. Transitioning into clinical practice, Janvi became a Clinical Pharmacist and later served as a Community Pharmacist for five years. During this time, she provided patient-centered care, medication counselling, and clinical support to diverse populations, consistently earning trust through her knowledge and compassionate communication. At Camrose Value Drug Mart & Travel Clinic, Janvi is committed to helping patients achieve better health outcomes through trusted clinical guidance, high-quality service, and a genuine focus on individual well-being. Outside of her professional life, Janvi enjoys exploring new places, traveling, shopping, dancing, spending time with her kids and family, and creating online content.

Irine Sware

Pharmacy Assistant
Irine Sware is a valued Pharmacy Assistant at Camrose Value Drug Mart & Travel Clinic, bringing over 20 years of experience in pharmacy and healthcare settings. She works closely with patients to ensure every visit is welcoming and well supported. Irine assists with prescription processing, helps answer general questions, and supports clear communication between patients, pharmacists, and healthcare providers. Her attention to detail and caring approach help ensure medications are prepared accurately and on time, contributing to a smooth and stress-free patient experience.

Known for her professionalism, reliability, and positive attitude, Irine plays an important role in delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate care to our patients.

Graciela Ann Diaz, BSc Pharm

Pharmacy Student & Pharmacy Assistant
Graciela Ann Diaz is a dedicated Pharmacy Student and Assistant at Camrose Value Drug Mart & Travel Clinic, known for her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to enhancing patient care. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and is a registered pharmacist from the Philippines. Graciela is currently working towards her pharmacy board examination to become a licensed pharmacist in Canada. Her focus on improving patient care and service is evident in her daily interactions. Outside of work, Graciela enjoys spending quality time with her family and engaging in her personal devotions.
